Her biological mother played an intricate part in her rearing growing up as well. Dr. Devezin’s entire upbringing has made her the woman she is today. After graduating salutatorian from Detroit Northern High School in 1992, she attended Tennessee State University. As an Elementary Education major, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Upon graduation, God granted Dr. Devezin to become the mother to a “Miracle Child”. In 1998, she landed a job as an elementary teacher. Eventually, Dr. Devezin became the youngest Assistant Principal for George Washington Carver Academy in Highland Park, Michigan. As an administrator and mother, Dr. Devezin took on the challenge of furthering her education at Wayne State University, where she received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
